Space research is one of the most fascinating challenges for the humanity, and represents one of the most important and innovative driver in technology.

Space is today a concrete industrial sector and, at the same time, an important factor for the service industry to create radically new solutions and applications that help modifying and improving our life on the Earth.

MADE IN ITALY

The products of Italian companies working in the Space sector have a deep and long-lasting impact on the quality of life of the cities and areas where they are implemented.

Products of Italian companies of this business sector - particularly of small and medium enterprises - are marked by the traditional and usual "Made in Italy" quality, which connects esthetical functionality and usability with creativity, flexibility, care to cope to client's demands, technological advanced solutions and "hand-made" care.

Telecommunication, Earth Observation and Geo-positioning services are the base for many services and applications regarding internet global communication, high quality television, security and emergencies, international cooperation, mobility and logistics, territory control and management and many other issues.

The website Space Made in Italy aims to show the enormous potential of the Space Economy and of the Italian companies presenting actual cases, solutions and products.

The website consists of three main parts: a Glossary of Applications and Products, a Database of Achievements, and a Database of the Companies.
